Technology cooperative / Active project
Tech of Our Own
Computing you can make your own.
Technology built around the people who use it.Project identity illustration.
Ownership all the way through.
Tech of Our Own brings the undertaking back to the computers in people’s hands and homes. It is a cooperative project focused on technology that people can own, understand, maintain, and control.
That includes useful hardware, refurbished equipment, self-hosted systems, and open software. OurBox is part of this work: a home for applications and data on infrastructure the user controls.
Someone who comes here for a good computer does not need to share every interest I have in virtual worlds or artificial people. The cooperative has its own purpose, its own public home, and its own account of what it is building.
One part of a larger undertaking.
